An Evening in Paradiso: Inside Staff Domain South Africa’s Year-End Celebration

Black Tie.

A title, theme, and dress code rolled into one, Staff Domain’s South Africa team had no problem bringing the event to life at the stunning Paradiso at Montecasino.

The year-end affair demanded a degree of glitz and glamour that the attendees were only too happy to satisfy. Starting off strong, everyone strutted down the red carpet in their best attire. From bright-coloured gowns to glittering tuxedos, everyone was appropriately met with camera clicks and flashes from the event’s photography crew, adding that extra oomph to the celebrity experience. As a fun twist, slow-motion footage of each guest was also taken as they entered the venue for their very own version of Hollywood’s Glambot moment.

Fun Comedy & Fine Cuisine

The program began with a hearty performance by a local comedian, who, with one little surprise up his sleeve, delighted the crowd by also serving as the program’s energetic and entertaining host. He had the audience laughing and howling throughout the evening, only allowing them to catch a breakand their breathduring dinner.

Speaking of dinner, a mouthwatering three-course meal was prepared for the occasion, adding yet another touch of finesse to the event. Selected from Paradiso’s very own exquisite menu, the food was thoroughly enjoyed by the attendees as they relished in the fine dining restaurant’s enthralling culinary theatre, in the luxury of a whole private lounge with its own balcony view.

It certainly took the saying, “Good food with good company,” to a whole new level.

Honouring Excellence

As the program continued, recognition took centre stage as five exceptional individuals were selected for the prestigious LEFRO Awards, an honour given to those who embody Staff Domain’s five core values:

  • L – Listen actively to ensure understanding
  • E – Embrace every growth opportunity to help kick goals, not just tick boxes
  • F – Find a way always, and stay solution-focused
  • R – Respect people, time, views, expectations, and deadlines
  • O – Open communication that is timely, honest, and ready for feedback

This year, the company’s most prestigious award was given to:

  • Poko
  • Carissa
  • Siyanda
  • Kiasha
  • Nhlanhla

Even as team members with diverse functions and specialities, the awardees celebrated their common achievement: contributing to the company, its clients, and their fellow employees with excellence. Their recognition served as a reminder that the heartbeat of any organisation is not its systems or structures, but the people who bring purpose and spirit to work each day.

Packed Prizes Come with Packed Bags

With yet another successful year just about completed and the proper recognitions awarded, Staff Domain’s South Africa team found another reason to celebrate once it was time for the raffle.

Skipping the traditional selection of kitchen gadgets and other retail goods, the Black Tie Year-End Party was determined to do things in style: all-expense-paid trips to Sun City, Cape Town, and Victoria Falls. With just three destinations up for grabs, everyone held their breath in the hopes of being one of the fortunate few to be called up to claim their free vacation.

CFO Ben Rajah attended the event not only to take the stage for a heartfelt speech that reflected his gratitude for the past year and excitement for the things to come, but also to announce and present the much-awaited roster of holiday prizes.

In the end, these individuals were named the lucky three who’ll get to pack their bags and enjoy a fabulous vacation in the following destinations:

  • Sun City: Lucky
  • Cape Town: Iftaar
  • Victoria Falls: Sydney

The Echoes of A Good Year and An Evening Well Spent

The night wound on, but the Staff Domain crowd remained as electric as ever. Long after the evening’s highlights, attendees remained engaged in enthusiastic conversation, laughter, and dancing, enjoying the exceptional food and drinks that continued to flow from Paradiso’s kitchens.

Even when the event had come to a graceful close and all had to say their goodbyes for the evening, the same sound of happy chatter followed the trail of exiting guests long after they had left the restaurant, a subtle reflection of the team’s strong bonds and mutual respect. These are the same elements that have supported their efforts thus far, together with their passion to deliver good work.

In a year defined by big wins, resilience, and growth, the Staff Domain South Africa team’s celebration served as an opportunity to look back with appreciation and forward with optimism. The Black Tie Year-End Party was a success. Tying everything together, it was, in every sense, a fitting finale to a year of shared endeavours.

Starlight at the Glass Garden: Staff Domain Philippines’s Year-End Party

To mark the end of 2024, Staff Domain hosted Grand Noir, a night of elegance and glamour. This year, the company kept the year-end party’s luxurious tones but decided to pay homage to the beauty and strength of Filipino culture in the form of Sinagtala

Hosted in the beautifully fragile Glass Garden in Pasig City, the night-long celebration kicked off under the light of the stars.

In Full Splendour

Sinagtala was comprised of the Filipino words sinag, meaning “ray of light,” and tala, meaning “star,” a theme designed to be a “symphony of Filipino grandeur.” Embodying the concept down to the last pearl-encrusted button, guests arrived at the venue in their finest Filipinianas and Barong Tagalogs, each piece a display of the marriage between timeless tradition and stunning modernity. Referring to the ensembles on display that evening as grand would have been a severe understatement and a discredit to those who clearly prepared for the occasion.

To properly recognise their effort, upon entering, guests were promptly welcomed by a red carpet and a flurry of photographers ready to capture the moment. A vintage photobooth and a 360-video booth were also available on-site to give everyone more options to preserve their stunning looks for the evening as a lasting keepsake.

Special Guests, Grand Entrances

Among those who attended were, of course, Staff Domain’s leadership team and employees, both onsite and work-from-home personnel, with some attendees literally going the extra mile by flying in from Cebu and Pampanga.

The guest list also included some of the company’s valued partners—international clients who made time to take part in the festivities and enjoy Filipino entertainment and hospitality. Naturally, the dress code applied to all, so each representative proudly wore their very own Filipinanas and Barong Tagalogs to the grand affair, a fond moment that was captured on camera when the honoured guests were asked to step onto the stage to be recognised.

Performances That Lit Up the Night

As a night of celebration, the program was packed with performances. Starting off strong with local talent Tunog Rizalia Rondalla, the ensemble of young musicians and their conductor took to the stage to serenade guests with rondalla music. Played on traditional instruments such as the bandurria, gitara, and doble bajo, the old yet timeless folk genre originated in Spain but was quickly adapted to reflect Filipino identity. Guests were able to enjoy their delicious dinner of Filipino favourites, such as cheesy kaldereta and buko pandan jelly, to the soothing sounds of a classic local symphony.

Their brief concert was followed by Ajie, one of Staff Domain’s very own Customer Success Partners, with her incredible rendition of the popular song “Never Enough” from the film The Greatest Showman. Remarkably, her performance was so well-received that the audience called for an unplanned encore, which Ajie delivered flawlessly.

Ajie later returned to the stage, but this time, as director of the chorale comprised of staff from the company’s own internal departments. Together, they performed a medley of Filipino Christmas songs that gave the audience, especially the honoured international visitors, a glimpse of what the Philippine holiday season is like.

Finally, for an explosive finale, the Dance Domain dance troupe went on stage for their Christmas tunes and Filipino Pop-inspired number. Also comprised of Staff Domain’s internal talent, the crew moved, jumped, and body-rolled their hearts out for one last go at entertaining the crowd, earning much-deserved applause at the end of their electric performance.

Awards & Recognitions

With year-end parties come year-end recognitions, and rightfully so. Staff Domain’s Sinagtala was no different. Peppered across the program were moments dedicated to honouring individuals from both internal and client-facing teams alike for their exceptional service.

The awards began with the winners of the Lifestyle 180 challenge. Commenced in January of this year, the program’s participants dedicated themselves to the pursuit of achieving their wellness and fitness aspirations, their progress closely monitored by Staff Domain’s partner coaches. Once the challenge came to an end, the same experts evaluated each candidate’s success and chose the following winners:

  • Chad Rafael & Ma. Eliza – 1st place
  • Marconi & May Ann – 2nd place
  • Marlo & Jocelyn – 3rd place
  •

Next came the Value Creator Award. Granted to those who consistently go above and beyond, the award recognised individuals who created real, measurable value for the company, its clients, and its people. Awarded for their incredible impact were:

  • Ailen – Real Estate Virtual Assistant
  • Jen Jen – Accounts Officer
  • Sean – Customer Support Specialist
  • Jennifer – Operations/Admin Support
  • Cyril Ann – Senior Tax Accountant
  • Danielle Genyne – Customer Service Representative
  • Genabelle – Reporting Analyst
  • Jayson – Facilities Lead
  • Leila Lois – HR Associate
  • Mary Grace – Client Success Partner

The Service Loyalty Award, as the name suggests, honoured loyalty, commitment, and years of tireless, dedicated service that helped shape Staff Domain to what it is today. The awardees were:

  • Andrea – Transaction & Audit Specialist
  • Xyra – Senior Accountant
  • Jonathan – Creative Media Lead
  • Jev Ezrah Mari – Data Analyst
  • Maria Rojanie – Office Manager

With everyone putting in the time and effort to prepare for the glamorous gala, Staff Domain thought it appropriate to recognise the ones who truly stood out from the evening’s sea of stars. The judges had a difficult time determining the winners, but eventually, the titles of Lakan ng Dangal (Nobleman of Honour) and Lakambini ng Kariktan (Muse of Allure) were respectively given to:

  • Michael – Credit Underwriter & Loan Processing Associate
  • Edylyn – Customer Service Representative

Finally came the LEFRO Award, an honour given to those who represent Staff Domain’s five core values:

  • L – Listen actively to ensure understanding
  • E – Embrace every growth opportunity to help kick goals, not just tick boxes
  • F – Find a way always, and stay solution-focused
  • R – Respect people, time, views, expectations, and deadlines
  • O – Open communication that is timely, honest, and ready for feedback

At Staff Domain Philippines, this award is given out quarterly. Candidates are nominated, evaluated, and then selected, with each value having its own winner. Every year, an individual is selected among the quarterly winners, someone who best represents and embodies not one, but all the LEFRO values. For 2025, the honour belonged to Jay, a mechanical drafter for one of our esteemed clients, whose work and actions reflected the pursuit of dedication and excellence that Staff Domain strongly values.

After having their time in the spotlight and having their photos taken with their plaques and certificates, each recipient for every award and category received a corresponding cash prize, a pleasant surprise that the deserving individuals were thrilled and grateful to accept.

When Stars Align (for the Grand Raffle Draw)

No year-end party is complete without a raffle!

This year’s prizes remained as enticing as the year before—if not more—with the options ranging from kitchen appliances to spa tickets, gift certificates, buffet passes, luxury goods, and even vacation leave credits for the next year, which had everyone clamouring to both the event’s hosts and the high heavens for their name to be called.

As fantastic as that selection was, the highlight of the evening’s raffle was the holiday destinations that were reserved for the last draw. In the end, these lucky few secured plane tickets, accommodations, and more:

  • Marc – a trip to Universal Studios Singapore for 2 (3 days & 2 nights)
  • Lanie – a trip to El Nido, Palawan for 2 (3 days & 2 nights)
  • Nicolas – a staycation at Solaire North (with P5,000 worth of dining credit)

The Last Glow of Sinagtala

After a full program of fun, excitement, and entertainment, the program officially came to an end. The festivities, however, did not, and at the hosts’ signal, the DJ came on stage to set the mood for Sinagtala’s after-party. Leaders, staff, and clients alike were able to eat, drink, and be merry long into the night.

Finally, as the lights dimmed over the Glass Garden and the final notes of celebration settled into memory, Sinagtala stood as a radiant testament to what makes Staff Domain exceptional. The year-end party was a tribute to culture and to community, a reflection of the growth and resilience displayed by everyone part of the organisation. With spirits high and hearts full, all in attendance stepped into the night carrying not just the joy of the celebration but the promise of an even brighter year ahead.

A Timeless Affair: Vintage Night in South Africa

Our South Africa team turned back the clock for Vintage Night in a flurry of taffeta skirts, black suspenders, and classic bags. As one of the last staff engagement activities for the year, the event brought the glitz, glamour, and good vibes of the past decades right into the present.

Red Carpet Rewind

The office transformed into a scene straight out of a classic film set. A dazzling red carpet set the tone as team members made their grand entrance, dressed to impress in their best vintage-inspired outfits. From elegant dresses and old-timer suits to statement accessories and timeless hairstyles, everyone embraced the theme with flair and fun.

The highlight of the night? The runway show.

Everyone had their chance to have the spotlight for themselves, channelling their inner models as they strutted down the red carpet-turned-runway to show off their classic outfits as their audience cheered and eagerly took on the role of paparazzi in the sidelines.

Adding a bit of spice, Best Dressed and Best Runway Walk awards were introduced to further inspire the attendees to bring their best wear and even better walk.

Retro Flavours

No party is complete without good food, and Vintage Night was no exception. The team enjoyed a delicious spread that kept spirits high and conversations flowing. Between sips and bites, laughter echoed across the room, and despite the pleasant ring of the aptly themed playlist in the background, it was the better soundtrack to the evening of fun.

Old Souls, Fresh Energy

Beyond the vintage outfits and merrymaking moments, the night reflected something even more meaningful: our culture. At Staff Domain, we believe in giving our people the space to unwind, express themselves, and build memories beyond the day-to-day.

Events like Vintage Night help keep in focus the fact that while we do work hard, we must leave room to play, to celebrate, and to rest. It’s this balance of dedication and enjoyment that keeps our team connected, inspired, and committed — qualities that reflect well in the quality of work and service we’re all incredibly proud of.

Now, a culture like that, much like timeless vintage, never goes out of style.

Staff Domain Celebrates Family Day 2025 with Juan Big Fiesta

There’s no party like a fiesta!

This year’s Family Day, Juan Big Fiesta, sought to capture the heart and soul of Filipino culture. Inspired by the traditional fiesta, the event was a vibrant celebration of family, laughter, and community that brought employees and their loved ones together for a day of pure delight.

Fiesta Fun for the Whole Family

The event grounds were transformed into a carnival of excitement, with booths and attractions spread across every corner. Staff Domain employees and their families were welcomed with a photobooth to capture their brightest smiles. A face painting station turned kids into superheroes, fairies, and animals for the day. For the competitive few who wanted to put their reflexes to the test, the catch stick game was the booth to be in, with players standing in wait to attempt to catch the full set of randomly dropping batons.

Other activities required more dedication to movement, such as the inflatable playground that had kids bounding, hopping, and barely using up their energy reserves while parents and guardians crawled after them. When they weren’t wrestling each other in the inflatable sumo suits or diving into the ball pit, players of all ages lined up at the human claw machine for a chance to scoop their chosen treats, toys, and trinkets with every limb they had, in a hilarious twist on the classic arcade game.

Overall, each booth offered a different kind of fun, but whether guests were playing, watching, or cheering from the sidelines, the event was bursting with contagious excitement.

Playtime, Pinoy Style

Juan Big Fiesta’s main charm was in how it celebrated the simple pleasures of growing up in the Philippines. The games stayed true to the theme, making them fondly familiar and bringing a rush of childhood nostalgia to some, while providing delightful entertainment for those playing them for the first time.

There was kadang-kadang, the coconut walk race where players stepped onto coconut shells, secured them to their feet, and clip-clopped to the finish line with their new organic footwear demanding balance and coordination. The classic sack race tested agility and determination, while the ever-popular Pinoy Henyo had everyone yelling out clues and bubbling with laughter as the teams guessed the assigned words under pressure, all a welcome break from the usual view of screens and schedules.

Showcasing Filipino Talent

Adding rhythm and culture to the festivities were live performances that honoured Filipino artistry and pride. Talented vocalists Harold Avila and Victory Nard Gabelo opened the lineup with their catchy solos, wrapping up their segment with a power duet that rightfully earned them applause.

Representing the dance arts, the Earist Dancers quickly followed suit, wowing the crowd with a traditional tinikling performance. In this graceful yet high-energy dance, performers nimbly stepped between clashing bamboo poles in perfect time to the upbeat music, skipping and dodging their way into the hearts of the audience.

Flavours of the Fiesta

Of course, no Filipino fiesta would be complete without food, and Juan Big Fiesta delivered an irresistible roster of selections that had everyone coming back for seconds. The aroma of freshly cooked popcorn and tusok-tusok favourites of fishball, squidballs, and kikiam filled the air, a long line leading to each booth marking their appeal.

For cold, sweet treats to beat the heat, guests eagerly dropped by the cart for some ice cream and refreshing drinks like gulaman, buko pandan, and buko juice.

A Festive Halloween Twist

With Halloween just around the corner, Staff Domain celebrated the spooky holiday tradition with a costume competition for the attendees. The adults were given instructions to showcase Filipino fashion to line up with the event’s local theme, with the contenders walking on stage to stun the audience with a mix of modern and traditional outfits. The kids, on the other hand, were given free rein to dress as they wanted, from well-known pop-culture icons to famous characters from the big screen.

Celebrating Community with Family

Throughout the year, Staff Domain has been consistent in our efforts to support our valued staff. From sports fests to themed activities, we’ve worked hard to provide them with events that connect, engage, and remind them that their efforts do not go unnoticed. Juan Big Fiesta was our opportunity to do it again, this time with the people who drive and inspire them to succeed.

More than enjoying the festivities of one big fiesta, it was our great pleasure to witness the celebrations of one big family whose dedication and hard work tirelessly support our valued clients and make Staff Domain what it is today.

Campus Classics: A Throwback to Spirit and Style

Staff Domain brought back the nostalgia of student life with Campus Classics, a fun-filled throwback edition of our #DressUpFriday series. The event invited employees to look back to their school days for inspiration and channel their inner campus icons: from varsity stars and preppy scholars to laid-back art majors and cool club members. It was a playful and stylish celebration of youth, creativity, and community.

Back to School, Same Old Fun

The office buzzed with excitement as employees arrived dressed in their best back-to-school looks, completely acing the theme. Pleated skirts twirled, letterman jackets made a comeback, and classic, neatly pressed polos brought a mix of old-school charm and modern flair. Themed playlists and cheerful chatter filled the workplace, setting the perfect tone for a lighthearted Friday.

To help everyone nail the look, Staff Domain shared a Campus Fashion Guide ahead of the event, offering outfit ideas and tips for everyone who looked forward to participate. Suggestions included, but were not limited to polo shirts, graphic tees with varsity prints, classic pleated skirts or high-waist jeans, button-down shirts, varsity jackets, chinos, and cargo pants. The result? A delightful display of style diversity that felt like walking through campus on the first day of school.

A Friendly Fashion Face-Off

When it came to enthusiastic participation, everyone passed with flying colours, but of course, no dress-up event would be complete without a little friendly competition. Whether they were onsite, work-from-home, or hybrid, employees were encouraged to submit a clear photo of their full outfit for a chance to win cash prizes. The only rule: keep it real. No AI-generated or digitally altered images were allowed. The resulting authenticity brought out everyone’s creativity, proving that a simple theme could spark big smiles, and even bigger personalities.

Each participant brought their own twist to the theme: some went all-in with full uniforms and backpacks, while others took inspiration from their actual college days or favorite campus movie characters. The judging panel had their hands full choosing winners, but one thing was clear: the true victory was seeing the entire team come together in the spirit of fun and nostalgia.

Culture That Connects

At Staff Domain, events like Campus Classics are never just about dressing up. It’s about finding fun in the day-to-day, connecting with fellow employees, and fostering a culture of warmth and welcomeness.

Whether it’s sports fests, wellness programs, or themed Fridays, each initiative reflects our belief that an engaged, happy team makes for a stronger and more collaborative workplace. Campus Classics reminded us that sometimes, the best way to recharge is to revisit the joy, energy, and creativity of our younger selves — even if just for a day.

From the laughter echoing across departments to the friendly outfit debates on our communication channels, the event was a fun reminder that at Staff Domain, work and play go hand in hand.

Deficit Done Right: A Lifestyle 180 Workplace Fitness Webinar

September Focus: Sustainable Nutrition and Fitness

This September, Staff Domain’s Lifestyle 180 wellness initiative put the spotlight on sustainable nutrition and workplace fitness with an engaging webinar on mastering calorie deficit the healthy way.

Launched as a 10-month workplace wellness initiative early this year, Staff Domain’s Lifestyle 180 program continues to support our employees’ healthy habits and personal transformation. This holistic approach to workplace fitness and wellbeing has brought together experts, engaging sessions, and practical tips to help our team feel healthier both in and outside of work.

Our latest event, the Deficit 101 Webinar, was yet another activity we had in store in line with the program’s goals.  It was an engaging and practical online session designed to help our team make informed decisions about their health and fitness, shining the spotlight on the familiar but often misunderstood topic of going on a calorie deficit.

Meet the Coach

We were privileged to welcome back Bea Chan, a licensed physical therapist and a senior personal trainer, as our guest speaker. With her ideal blend of clinical expertise and real-world fitness coaching, Bea has become a trusted figure in our company-wide wellness journey. She brings not just knowledge, but also an approachable energy that resonates with employees of all fitness levels. Her background made her the perfect guide to help the participants tackle the subject many have heard of but few truly grasp.

Exploring the Calorie Deficit Journey

Right from the get-go, the webinar was buzzing with enthusiasm. Attendees logged in on time, ready with their questions, while Coach Bea jumped right in with energy and clarity.

On paper, a calorie deficit sounds simple: burn more than you eat. In practice, however, it’s far more complex: Do too little, results may not show. Do too much, you risk fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, or, even worse, burnout and health setbacks.

It’s a balancing act that requires mindful effort, not extreme measures.

"Fill your diet with nutrient-dense food. We’re not talking about deprivation, we’re talking about moderation."

Recognising this challenge, Coach Bea framed the discussion around safe, sustainable practices. Playfully dubbing the sessions as a guide to “Surviving the ‘Hunger’ Games,” she explained not just what calorie deficit is,  but also how to do it right. Her talk highlighted:

      • The science behind the practice and how it affects the body
      • Practical tips for adjusting eating habits without extreme restriction
      • The importance of pairing proper nutrition with regular physical activity
      • Common myths and mistakes people make when attempting to lose weight

Our guest speaker passionately emphasised that caloric deficit should never be about starving or restricting food, but about finding balance in fuelling your body with the right nutrients while creating a manageable energy gap that supports overall health.

A Little Food for Thought

Even with clinical terms like “ghrelin” and “BCAA” being thrown into the mix, the discussion stayed light and relatable, burning through fitness myths faster than a cardio workout.

To cap it off, the open Q&A session gave participants the chance to bring forward their questions and concerns. From portion sizes to practical exercise routines, Coach Bea shared tailored, achievable advice. Her patience and clarity ensured that everyone walked away with insights they could apply right away, be it at home, the gym, or even in the workplace.

Workplace Wellness in Action

Events like Deficit 101 reflect Staff Domain’s broader commitment to building a culture of health and wellbeing. Through Lifestyle 180, we’re working to redefine workplace fitness: more than just lunchtime walks to occasional yoga sessions, it is a holistic approach that empowers employees to take ownership of their physical health, mental resilience, and everyday lifestyle choices.

By offering programs that combine expert guidance with real-world applications, we aim to help employees build healthier habits that last well beyond the workplace.

Here’s to small steps, sustainable choices, and a stronger Staff Domain community.

A Strong Debut: Staff Domain Wins at the HR Excellence Awards

Making Our Mark

Staff Domain earns recognition from the HR Excellence Awards (HREA) Philippines for its relentless commitment to caring for our employees, delivering strategies that go far beyond compensation to support holistic wellbeing, growth, and lasting career fulfilment.

The HR Excellence Awards (HREA) celebrates exceptional impact in the human resources space, from innovative initiatives to outstanding leadership practices. As the only HR-centric awarding body in the region whose entries are peer-reviewed by distinguished individuals in the field, it has quickly risen to become one of the most sought-after accolades for any organisation that recognises the value of putting people first.

This year marked Staff Domain’s first attendance at this prestigious awarding ceremony, and with it came our first award: the Silver HR Excellence in Total Rewards Strategy. An award dedicated to acknowledging organisations with the most outstanding incentive and benefit programs, it was our great honour to have been recognised by a panel of respected peers and industry leaders, making it a memorable achievement that will continue to encourage us to constantly raise the bar for how we support our people.

Recognition That Speaks to Our Culture

At Staff Domain, we believe that success starts with creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow. Being named among the region’s top organisations for their overall rewards and benefits strategy is not just a win for our HR team, it is a recognition of the culture we have built together.

This award also reinforces our standing as a Great Place to Work® certified organisation. It validates the promise at the heart of our employee value proposition: that every individual at Staff Domain has access to fair rewards, meaningful opportunities, and the support they need to thrive.

Excellence, Defined Our Way

Believing in a people-first outlook, we take the time and effort to recognise the humans behind the roles. Here’s a quick look at the approach that earned us our very first HR Excellence Award and how we bring our people-centric visions to life:

        • Fair & Competitive Compensation
We offer above-industry salary packages to ensure that our employees are recognised and rewarded fairly.
        • Health & Wellness
From comprehensive healthcare coverage to our Lifestyle 180 program and accessible mental health support, we design benefits that care for the overall wellbeing of our people and their families.
        • Growth & Learning
We see the value in training, mentorship, and clear advancement pathways. Our people don’t just have jobs, they have careers with direction and purpose.
        • Open Recognition
Whether it’s through peer-to-peer appreciation or company-wide awards, we make recognition a daily and essential practice.
        • Work-Life Balance
Varied working arrangements, flexible shifts, and culture-driven leave policies give our people the time and space to not only manage, but also enjoy, their professional and personal lives.

Momentous To Momentum

Winning Silver in the HR Excellence in Total Rewards Strategy was a proud moment for Staff Domain, but it was also a reminder of the responsibility we carry as an organisation. We know that people are looking for more than a pay cheque. More often than not, they want balance, support, a healthy environment, and the constant opportunity to grow.

This award tells us we are moving in the right direction, but we also recognise that this is just a milestone in our journey, not the destination. Motivated by our commitment to excellence, we continue to evolve and improve, always guided by the belief that when our people succeed, so do our clients, and so does our business.

Here at Staff Domain, achievements like this help make it clear to our people and partners that we’re not just a great place to work—we’re the smart place to grow.

Women’s Month Celebration: A Sweet Day of Connection

This August, our South Africa team’s Women’s Month celebration at Muse Bakery was nothing short of sweet success. From the whimsical delight of decorating cakes to sharing the yummy treats, the event was a fun mix of creativity and connection.

A Slice of Imagination

Cake decorating was first on the list and easily became a highlight of the event. With frosting, sprinkles, and a dash of ingenuity, the participants let their imaginations run wild, decorating their own creations with strokes of colour and flair. Some cakes displayed playfulness, while others with more artistry, but all were piped with personality. The hands-on activity sparked plenty of hearty laughter and playful competition, a perfect moment of warm connection.

Sweet Treats and Good Company

As it turns out, you can have your cake and eat it, too!

Not that many of our colleagues were eager to take a bite of their sweet creations and ruin all their hard work so soon, but thankfully, they didn’t have to. A larger spread of tasty snacks and drinks was waiting for them after their decorating endeavour. Between bites and sips, our South Africa team enjoyed relaxed conversations that went beyond the usual daily grind, a humble celebration that brought them even closer together.

Bonds Beyond the Bakery

At the end of the day, through the light-hearted chatter and the small bites of cake in between, the team didn’t lose sight of the subject of celebration. More than frosting cakes, enjoying delicious food, and having a fun time, the day was about honouring women, and not just those who make Staff Domain what it is today, either.

It was a recognition of women everywhere: women of the past who paved the way for change in dignified silence or for all the world to see, women of the present who continue the good work, and women of the future who are tasked to carry forward legacies while making their own mark.

The Staff Domain Women’s Month Celebration was a joy to hold and an honour to observe.  What’s more, this is just the beginning. With more staff engagements on the horizon, the team can look forward to future events that will only get more exciting, more fun, and more meaningful.

Here’s to celebrating women not just this month, but every day, and to making more moments that are truly the icing on the cake.

Staff Domain Cebu Sports Fest 2025: Sweat, Smiles, and Spirit

Bullseye!

This year’s Staff Domain Cebu Sports Fest hit the mark, literally, with its line-up of traditional archery and Super Cube, a new and digital take on the challenge of agility and precision.

Trading their laptops for bows and their leather soles for rubber, our Cebu team gathered at iSports, SM Jmall Cebu for an evening of friendly competition and laughter.  In the midst of whizzing arrows and glowing floors, our colleagues put on a dynamic display of intensity, dedication, and teamwork.

Aiming for Fun and Precision

Starting strong with a round of archery, the competitors all tapped into their inner marksmen and quickly got into the spirit of things. It didn’t matter too much that some held a bow and arrow for the first time while others were eager to show off their steady aim. By the time the last arrow hit its mark, all of the participants had shown their determination and true enjoyment for the sport.

Quick Moves and Quicker Thinking

The fun didn’t stop there!

Soon after archery wrapped up, our Cebu colleagues shifted their sights onto winning the next challenge: the Super Cube.

A modern take on the classic The Floor is Lava game, the Super Cube is an immersive and interactive activity that tests players’ agility, quick thinking, and teamwork. The participants had to step onto a massive digital grid floor with glowing cubes, avoiding the moving red lights while ensuring the blues were all pressed just before the clock ran out.

The room was filled with an entertaining mix of panic, intense focus, and bursts of laughter as the competitors ran and leapt across the interactive grid. Cheers constantly erupted from the sidelines, a warm display of camaraderie cutting through the high-energy atmosphere. While the winners got to celebrate their victory, everyone certainly got swept up in the fun of the challenge.

Meet the Winners

Everyone’s a winner in our eyes, but of course, what’s a tournament without a proper crowning of champions?

Ending on a Delicious Note

We started the sports fest with an exciting round of archery where everyone got the chance to be Katniss Everdeen, but the true Hunger Games was saved for the end: dinner at Taishu Yakiniku!

Over the sizzling of quality cuts of meat and the clinking of cold drinks, our Cebu team enjoyed an evening of lively conversation, hearty laughter, and even heartier appetites. Their encouraging words and fond praises for each other resonated across the table, a true display of fellowship and togetherness.

Highlights that Last

The highlights of the Staff Domain Cebu Sports Fest 2025 went beyond hitting targets and beating the clock, beyond the usual takeaway of sportsmanship and teamwork.

By stepping away from the usual workday, the team had the chance to enjoy each other’s company in a new and refreshing way, outside the four walls of an office or a video call. Between the cheers during archery, the energy in the Super Cube challenge, and the laughter shared over dinner, events like this remind us that it’s not only the big wins that matter, but also the moments of connection, encouragement, and shared joy along the way.

The day had to come to a close, but the smiles and stories carried forward as lasting reminders that while the games may have ended, team spirit goes on.

Staff Domain Olympics 2025: One Goal. One Team. One Victory

The energy? Electric. Competition? Fierce. Camaraderie? Unmatched! Staff Domain Olympics 2025 proved once again why this annual sports fest is one of our most anticipated events of the year.

Held over two exciting weeks in Ortigas, Philippines, this year’s Olympics was a true celebration of talent, teamwork, and fun. From quick-thinking board games to high-energy court battles, every event brought out the best in our players and the loudest cheers from our audience.

Two Weeks, Countless Highlights

Our games kicked off right here in the office with a line-up that kept both participants and spectators on their toes. Staff clashed over Scrabble, Chess, Foosball, Billiards, and Pick-Up Sticks, plus traditional Filipino favourites like Sungka,Tumbang Preso, Ten-Twenty, and Chinese Garter. Even the digital realm saw action with an intense Mobile Legends tournament.

Outdoor and off-site games brought even more thrill, including Table Tennis and Pickleball matches, as well as Swimming (Breaststroke and Freestyle) and Bowling.

The Grand Finale at Poveda College

The climax of this year’s Olympics was nothing short of spectacular. On the final Saturday, we took over the gymnasium at St. Pedro Poveda College for a full day of competition. Here, the stakes were at their highest for Basketball, Volleyball, Sprint, and Badminton, all played in front of roaring crowds. The atmosphere was electric, every play charged with adrenaline and the spirit of friendly rivalry.

And the Winners Are… 🏆

After two weeks of non-stop action, the Red Dragons emerged as the Overall Champions, taking home the coveted trophy and a cash prize of ₱15,000.
