Celebrating Dads the SD Way: Highlights from SD Father’s Day 2025

Staff Domain believes in recognising the dedication and love our team members bring not just to work, but also to their roles as parents. On June 13, we celebrated the unsung heroes of our office, our dads, with a day filled with fun, reflection, good food, and well-deserved pampering. The SD Father’s Day 2025 celebration reminded us of the strength, warmth, and leadership our fathers bring to both family and work life.

SD Father’s Day 2025: Heartfelt Moments, Laughs, and Lasting Memories

The event began with a warm welcome from our host, June Bermudez, setting a cheerful and relaxed tone for the day. Staff Domain’s very own CFO, Ben Rajah, opened the celebration with a moving speech. He spoke about how deeply he loves his father and what fatherhood means to him.

Ben acknowledged the emotional and mental strength it takes to be a dad, saying, “I know how hard it is to be a father, and Staff Domain is always here to support you.” He also touched on the continuous learning journey that comes with fatherhood. It can feel overwhelming at times, but growth and improvement come from those very challenges. “It can be scary at first, but the more you fall, the better you become. Be optimistic, your kids are watching you,” he added, encouraging every dad in the room to be a role model through both their resilience and optimism.

Real Talk: The Q&A That Made SD Father’s Day 2025 Personal and Fun

To break the ice, we invited our dads to a light-hearted and thought-provoking Q&A session. Here’s a snapshot of the heartfelt (and often hilarious) answers they gave:

Q: If your life as a dad were a movie, what would it be?
A: John Wick. Most fathers make decisions not based on emotion, but from their role as providers. It’s all about commitment and discipline.

Q: What’s the best fatherly advice you’ve ever given or received?
A: Respect your parents, especially your mother.

Q: If you had a day off with no responsibilities, what would your ideal Father’s Day look like?
A: There’s no such thing as a day without responsibility. But if there was, it’d be drinking with my buddies and making sure my wife is happy. Happy wife, happy life.

Q: What family tradition would you like to start?
A: Being a role model. Our traditions as Filipinos include deep respect for parents. What we show our kids and how we treat others is what they’ll carry forward.

Q: If you could have any superpower as a dad, what would it be?
A: The power to never get tired. Being a father is a lifelong responsibility, and we need the energy to support our loved ones every day.

Ben also shared his insight during this session. “When disciplining or teaching your children, you can be more effective by changing how you say things. It’s about how you communicate and connect with your kids.”

Delicious Eats, Thoughtful Gifts, and Well-Deserved Relaxation

No celebration is complete without a hearty meal. We treated our dads to a delicious lunch of creamy mushroom roast beef and crispy chicken fillet. It was the perfect opportunity for them to sit down, relax, and share stories over a good meal.

To show our appreciation, each father received a curated token that included a shaver, body mist, and beard balm. These thoughtful gifts were a simple but meaningful way to say thank you for everything they do.

Afterwards, dads were treated to free massages. It was a much-needed moment of calm and care for those who give their all every single day.

A Toast to Fatherhood

The SD Father’s Day 2025 celebration didn’t end when the workday did. Later that evening, the dads of Staff Domain gathered at MoonShine, a nearby pub, for a casual after-hours bonding session. Over a few drinks, they shared stories, laughed, and built lasting memories with fellow fathers. It was the kind of camaraderie that reminds you you’re never alone on this journey.

A Father’s Day to Remember in South Africa

Our South Africa team joined the SD Father’s Day 2025 celebration with their thoughtful twist. Each dad received a gift pack featuring a shaver, body mist, and a beard balm as a token of appreciation for their big role at work and home.

The celebration brought smiles across the office, with even non-dads joining in the fun. It was a simple yet meaningful moment that strengthened team bonds and reminded us all of the value of everyday appreciation.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Staff Domain!

SD Father’s Day 2025 was more than just an event. It was a heartfelt celebration of resilience, love, humour, and responsibility. We honoured the men who juggle family and career, who led by example, and who bring their whole selves to everything they do.

To all the dads in our global Staff Domain family, thank you for being the role models, supporters, and heroes we admire every day.

Play Hard, Work Stronger: Highlights from Our South Africa Office Sports Day

The competitive spirit in our South Africa office was in full display with our office sports event. We transformed a regular workday into a dynamic celebration where everyone was treated to a few hours of games. It was a vibrant display of unity, culture, and community spirit.

Employees across departments gathered with high energy and enthusiastic smiles, eager to take part in the activities planned. This was not just an opportunity to compete, but a chance to connect, laugh, and create memorable moments together.

Engagement initiatives like these breathe life into the workplace. They help teams break away from routine, reduce stress, and strengthen professional relationships in ways that meetings and emails never could.

Celebrating Connection Through Office Sports Competition

From the moment the games began, the room was already filled with excitement. You can sense the excitement in everyone. Laughter rang out, cheers erupted, and even the most reserved team members couldn’t help but join in the fun.

Sports Charade Sets the Tone

The highlight of the day was the Sports Charade game, a fast-paced, laughter-filled activity where participants acted out sports scenes while teammates tried to correctly guess the word in between cheers and upbeat music.

Friendly Competition, Real Rewards

The participant who earned the greenest cards for correct guesses was crowned Sports Charade Champion, taking home a couple of cool prizes. We also awarded the employee who exuded the sportiest flair.

Refueling with Food, Fun, and Friendship

After all the action, it was time to kick back and enjoy some well-earned bites. True to the event’s spirit, lunch wasn’t just about food; it was a continuation of the connection.

A Hearty Meal to Match a Hearty Spirit

Everyone enjoyed a delicious plate of beef lasagne served with potato salad, delivering comfort and satisfaction after a morning of physical fun.

A Sweet Surprise to Wrap Up the Fun

To top it all off, the team was surprised with a luscious chocolate mousse cake, a dessert that turned heads and sparked cheers around the table.

Mealtime Moments that Matter

This part of the day brought quieter joy, people chatting, laughing, and sharing moments that reinforced the essence of office sports: teamwork, camaraderie, and gratitude for the people we work with every day.

The Value of a Work-Hard, Play-Hard Culture

The Office Sports Day reminded us why fun should be part of the workplace. It’s not just time away from tasks; it’s an investment in morale, collaboration, and company culture.

Building a Stronger Staff Domain

By encouraging shared experiences, we foster a community that supports each other. This celebration wasn’t just a highlight of the quarter, it reflected the values we live by.

Looking Ahead to More Office Sports Moments

As we reflect on the day’s events, we’re filled with gratitude for our team’s energy, our culture of celebration, and the opportunity to create moments like these. The success of this office sports event has inspired us to continue making joy and teamwork a core part of our journey at Staff Domain.

We look forward to more unforgettable events that bring out the best in each other, on and off the field.

SD Mother’s Day 2025: Celebrating the Superwomen of Staff Domain

SD Mother’s Day 2025 was our way of saying a big, heartfelt thank you to the amazing mums of Staff Domain who bring their strength, love, and dedication to both their families and our workplace every single day. This two-day celebration, held onsite and online, was all about honouring the women who wear many hats, give so much of themselves, and inspire us all with their resilience and care.

SD Mother’s Day 2025 Onsite Celebration – May 8

SD Mother’s Day 2025 Onsite Celebration – May 8

Sir Emerson Mendoza opened the event with a touching tribute to all mothers, sharing how much he admires their strength and resilience. He spoke fondly of his own mum and expressed deep appreciation for the working mums of Staff Domain, recognising how challenging it is to balance work and family. He reminded everyone that Staff Domain is always here to support them, not just as professionals, but as parents too.

SD Mother’s Day 2025 Bonding Highlights: Q&A and Trivia

To warm up the room, we held a bonding session where mums shared heartfelt, funny, and inspiring stories from their motherhood journeys. This was followed by a fun trivia game where participants answered questions and won chocolates for every correct answer, because every supermum deserves a sweet treat.

Lunch Serenade: Music, Meals, and Meaningful Moments

Lunch was more than just a meal. Everyone enjoyed a delicious spread of creamy fried fish fillet and roast beef while being serenaded by our very own Staff Domain talents. Harold Avila delivered an emotional rendition of “Mapa” by SB19, followed by Sean Garchitorena’s beautiful performance of “Salamat Sa’yo Ina.” The live music brought smiles and even a few tears as everyone paused to reflect and appreciate.

Thoughtful Tokens and Massage Wrap-Up

As a token of appreciation, each mum received a curated gift set featuring a custom mug, drip coffee, and French vanilla coffee syrup — perfect for a little “me time” at home. To top it all off, mums were treated to a relaxing massage right in the office pantry. It was the perfect way to close out a day of love, laughter, and well-earned rest.

SD Mother’s Day 2025 Virtual Celebration – May 9

Opening the Virtual Program with Appreciation

Host Glenda Balagapo welcomed everyone with heartfelt words, sharing that even when it feels like no one is watching, we see and appreciate all that mums do. She encouraged participants to enjoy the program, turn on their cameras if they felt comfortable, and take a moment to feel proud of themselves. Mums also received a cash prize so they could treat themselves during the celebration.

Virtual Games and Prizes at SD Mother’s Day 2025

The highlight of the virtual event was a game called “Mother Knows Best,” which featured fun trivia questions about Mother’s Day and Filipino culture. Winners like Kharen Artajo and Carlyssa Abril were quick to type in the right answers and win cash prizes, creating excitement and cheer across everyone’s screens.

Closing With Gratitude and Heartfelt Goodbyes

Before the event wrapped up, Glenda reminded everyone that their tokens and prizes would be sent the following week. She encouraged all the mums to take time for themselves, enjoy their rewards, and celebrate the amazing job they do every day.

Celebrating Mother’s Day Across Borders: A Special Moment in South Africa

It wasn’t just the Philippines that felt the love. Our South Africa team also joined in the celebration of SD Mother’s Day 2025, taking time to honour the amazing mums in their office. With warm messages, heartfelt appreciation, and thoughtful gestures, our South African colleagues made sure their celebration reflected the same spirit of gratitude and recognition. No matter the location, the message was clear, every mum in Staff Domain is valued and celebrated.

SD Mother’s Day 2025 Was More Than a Celebration, It Was a Tribute

Whether onsite or online, SD Mother’s Day 2025 was a beautiful reflection of our company culture — one that honours the heart behind the hustle, celebrates the quiet strength of our mums, and reminds us how lucky we are to have them in the Staff Domain family.

Staff Domain South Africa Eastern Asian Event, A Day of Culture, Connection, and Celebration

The Staff Domain South Africa Eastern Asian Event on Friday, 25 April 2025, wasn’t just a themed activity—it was a full-colour expression of what makes Staff Domain’s culture truly special. From the creativity on display to the laughter shared across teams, the event brought to life the values we hold close: inclusivity, connection, and a genuine love for what we do and who we do it with.

Highlights from the Staff Domain South Africa Eastern Asian Event

As soon as the day began, the Staff Domain South Africa Eastern Asian Event came alive with vibrant décor inspired by Eastern Asian traditions. Colourful lanterns, paper fans, and floral elements transformed the office into a space bursting with cultural flavour. But the true heart of the event came from the people. Everyone came dressed in traditional Asian attire, each uniquely beautiful.

Shared Experiences Through Food

Great culture often comes alive over shared meals, and the Staff Domain South Africa Eastern Asian Event gave us a chance to do just that. We enjoyed:

  • Panda Lunch Box – A sushi selection that was as fresh as it was fun to share
  • Crispy Prawn Sandwich – Crunchy, creamy, and devoured in minutes
  • Chow Mein (Chicken or Beef) – A warm, filling favourite that hit the spot

Beyond the flavours, the food sparked conversation and encouraged mingling across teams—all contributing to the relaxed, joyful atmosphere. These are the moments that make workplace memories—simple, genuine, and shared.

Freeze Dance with Fans, Because Fun Is Part of Our Culture

Culture isn’t just about values; it’s about the way we show up for each other. And sometimes, that means you need to get up and dance!

Our Freeze Dance with Fans game brought out the playful side of our team.  The activity had everyone moving, laughing, and competing (light-heartedly, of course) for the title of best freeze.

Shoutout to Our Event Champs

From start to finish, the enthusiasm never dropped, which speaks volumes about the positivity and participation that runs through our team culture. From spontaneous dance-offs to bursts of laughter between rounds, every moment felt genuine and energising. It was clear that everyone wasn’t just attending the event, they were truly enjoying it together.

  • Best Dressed: Rinus Besselaar, who took cultural creativity to the next level
  • Freeze Dance Winner: Siyasanga Yekanye, for style and perfect timing
  • Freeze Dance Winner: Maria Mtshwene, who showed how to freeze with flair

A Reflection of What Makes Staff Domain Special

What made the Staff Domain South Africa Eastern Asian Event so meaningful wasn’t just the decorations or the games—it was how naturally it fit into the way we work and connect. Events like this don’t feel out of the ordinary here. They feel like a natural part of life at Staff Domain.

That’s because we’ve built a culture where people feel encouraged to show up as themselves, try something new, and celebrate together. Whether we’re hitting a major milestone or simply marking the end of a busy week, we never miss a chance to build connection and enjoy each other’s company.

We’re proud of our team for embracing the day with such energy, creativity, and heart. And we’re even prouder to be part of a workplace where culture isn’t just a word—it’s something we live out loud.

Mental Health in the Workplace: Insights from Staff Domain’s Webinar

Staff Domain recently hosted an impactful webinar focused on mental health in the workplace, highlighting valuable insights for achieving better mental well-being and work-life balance. The session was facilitated by ComPsych, the world’s largest provider of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.

The Importance of Mental Health in the Workplace

Female doing meditation before going to work

One of the important points emphasised during the webinar was the critical importance of mental health in the workplace. Employees participated in a reflective activity, rating the significance of mental wellness on a scale of 1 (not important) to 5 (very important). Unsurprisingly, most agreed on the highest rating, showcasing an organisational understanding that mental health is fundamental to both personal happiness and professional success.

What is the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)?

Learning about what EAP means

The ComPsych EAP provides employees and their household family members free, confidential access to mental health services. The program includes:

  • Three free one-hour counselling sessions per issue per year, covering stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, substance abuse, and career coaching.
  • Legal and financial consultation, offering practical advice on common issues such as budgeting, debt management, wills, and estate planning.
  • A 24/7 online resource portal, Guidance Resources Online, offering on-demand training and wellness tips accessible from computers, smartphones, or tablets.

Practical Tips for Better Work-Life Balance

Teaching tips for better mental health at the workplace

Staff Domain employees were encouraged to leverage these resources actively to promote work-life balance. Practical strategies discussed include:

  • Regular Mental Health Check-ins: Routinely assess your emotional well-being. Ask yourself, “How am I feeling today?” and seek support when needed.
  • Setting Boundaries: Establish clear work and personal time zones to avoid burnout and maintain long-term productivity.
  • Take Advantage of the EAP: Don’t wait until you’re overwhelmed. Take advantage of counselling services and expert consultations to stay ahead of stress.
  • Use Available Training: Explore on-demand modules on time management, emotional resilience, and conflict resolution to build stronger coping mechanisms.
  • Prioritise Breaks and Downtime: It’s okay to pause. Take breaks during the day to recharge and maintain focus.

Additional Takeaways for Better Mental Health

  • You Are Not Alone: Everyone experiences stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges. Opening up to professionals or trusted colleagues can make a significant difference. Talking about your feelings is the first step.
  • Mental Health is Ongoing: Just like physical fitness, mental wellness requires ongoing attention. Incorporate mindfulness practices or short meditations into your routine.
  • Know When to Ask for Help: Being brave sometimes means admitting you’re struggling. Asking for help is a powerful act of self-care.
  • Support One Another: Normalising mental health discussions within the team encourages a culture of empathy and support in the workplace.

Encouraging Open Dialogue at Work

Co-workers having fun at the workplace

The webinar also stressed the importance of normalising conversations about mental health in the workplace. Employees were prompted with the question, “What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever said?” emphasising that seeking help or openly discussing mental health struggles is a sign of strength, not weakness.

The session reinforced that pausing for mental health is okay and necessary, with the reminder, “It’s okay to pause, but it’s also important to keep going.”

Staff Domain employees left the webinar empowered with knowledge and resources to better handle life’s pressures, both at work and at home. The ComPsych EAP serves as a valuable support system, reinforcing the message that maintaining good mental health in the workplace is essential for sustained success and happiness.

Employees interested in accessing the EAP services can do so by visiting guidanceresources.com or reaching out directly via the dedicated helpline or email provided in the session.

Prioritising mental health in the workplace is more than a webinar—it’s a continuous commitment to oneself and one’s well-being.

2025 Cebu Team Building: Full Day of Spirited Fun and Connection

At Staff Domain, we take our work seriously—but we know how to have serious fun too. And our recent team building event in Cebu was all the proof anyone needs.

Held at the stunning Bluewater Resort, our Cebu-based team traded their desks for palm trees, sea breeze, and plenty of sunshine. The day was all about connection, creativity, and a little friendly competition—Staff Domain style.

Fuelling Up at Allegro

The day kicked off with a hearty buffet lunch at the Allegro Restaurant. With plates full of delicious food and conversations flowing just as freely, it was the perfect way to fuel up for an afternoon of exciting activities.

Let the Games Begin at our Cebu Team Building 2025!

After lunch, it was time to turn up the energy. The team gathered for a series of fun and competitive games designed to bring out the best in everyone—from the loudest cheer to the highest tower.

The festivities began with a cheer-making contest. Each group brought their A-game, filling the space with laughter, chants, and plenty of team spirit. The creativity on display? Next level. It was a revelation for some, as certain individuals unleashed their hidden talents in dancing, much to the delight of the rest of the team.

Then came the games:

  • The Name Game: A quirky challenge where a group’s fate rested on one teammate with the longest name. With markers in hand, each representative raced to write out their full name on the board—hoping to rack up the most letters and the win.
  • Toxic Waste: This wasn’t your average relay game that tested the teams’ dexterity and creativity. They had to use only intertwined strings—no hands allowed—to transport a bottle of water and put it into a cup across the room. It was a wild mix of precision, teamwork, and a few near spills.
  • Mountain Stuff: Creativity went into overdrive as teams had to build the tallest tower using whatever they were wearing or had on hand. It proved to be quite a challenge because both teams didn’t really have a lot of stuff on hand. However, that didn’t stop everyone from getting creative. In true competitive mode, they resorted to using their iPhones as platforms for water bottles; they managed to stick the ends of pens and pencils together. Who knew such items could turn into skyscrapers?
  • Shake It Off: For the finale, this high-energy game, got every individual shaking, jumping, and dancing to remove sticky notes from their bodies. It was too much for some, as they burst out in laughter.

Celebrating One LEFRO Awardee

After the games, the team took a break to celebrate LEFRO awardee Mariah Germane Sorono. Previously recognised at the Q1 Townhall, Mariah received her certificate and, more importantly, was cheered on by her co-workers.

With snacks to recharge and laughter still echoing from the day’s activities, the rest of the afternoon was free time—whether that meant lounging by the pool, enjoying the beach, or just catching up with teammates outside of work mode.

Why We Do This

Events like these aren’t just fun breaks from routine—they’re part of what makes Staff Domain a Great Place to Work. As a company, we put high value in creating experiences for our employees that allow them to foster strong connections, recharge physically and mentally, and know what a culture that truly celebrates people feels like.

Our Cebu team brought energy, enthusiasm, and loads of personality to this team building day—and we couldn’t be prouder.

Until the next one, Cebu team. You rocked it.

Staff Domain Wins Bronze at the 2025 Stevie® Award for Innovation in Business Services

We’re proud to share that Staff Domain won the Bronze Stevie® Award 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie® for the Innovation in Business Product & Service Industries category.

The Stevie® Awards is globally recognised for celebrating workplace innovation, and in 2025, more than 1,000 nominations were submitted from across 29 Asia-Pacific markets. Our win is a huge achievement—and one that reflects our ongoing commitment to building smarter, people-first offshore solutions.

Why the Stevie® Award Matters to Us—and Our Clients

Winning a Stevie® Award is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence. It signifies how our unique approach delivers real results—and that we do it well.

At Staff Domain, we don’t believe in cookie-cutter outsourcing. We believe in building offshore teams that are deeply integrated, performance-driven, and well-supported. This award highlights the value of that approach.

While some BPOs may be stuck on the “cheaper is better” mindset, we’ve proven that strategic offshoring can drive growth, innovation, and long-term success—especially for small to medium businesses in Australia, South Africa, and the US.

How We’re Redefining Offshore Outsourcing

Here’s a glimpse of what helped us stand out and eventually win the Stevie® Award:

  • Custom Offshoring Solutions: Every client has unique goals—and we create tailored strategies that align with their business and culture.
  • World-Class Office Infrastructure: Our facilities in the Philippines and South Africa are modern, secure, and purpose-built to support team performance. We’re ISO 27001 certified and take data protection seriously.
  • Continuous Learning Through SDU: Every Staff Domain employee has access to Staff Domain University (SDU), our in-house Learning Management System (LMS) that delivers training relevant to their role and industry. We also cover external online courses to ensure our teams stay ahead of the curve.
  • Client Success Managers, Not Account Managers: We don’t just “manage accounts.” We build partnerships. Each client is supported by a Client Success Manager who works closely with both sides to ensure alignment, performance, and ongoing optimisation.
  • People-First Culture: We’re not just a Great Place to Work® certified company—we live that recognition daily. We prioritise well-being, career growth, and a workplace culture that makes people stay and perform at their best.

A Message From Our CEO

“Our teams work tirelessly to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Winning a Stevie® Award – especially one that recognises innovation – is a proud moment for us,” said Justin Pavsic, CEO of Staff Domain.

“This award belongs to our entire community—our team, our clients, and everyone who believes in doing offshoring the right way.”

The 2025 Bronze Stevie® Award is just one milestone on our journey. We’ll continue investing in training, technology, and high-performance support to deliver the kind of outsourcing experience our clients can count on. One that’s secure, scalable, and sustainable.

Women of Staff Domain: Unique Perspectives from Different Journeys

March at Staff Domain was a month of appreciation, inspiration, and connection as we celebrated International Women’s Month. It wasn’t just another month on the calendar—it was a meaningful opportunity to recognise the incredible women who drive our success. The celebration was filled with heartfelt gestures and powerful stories, reminding us all of the strength and resilience of the women who make our workplace, and the world, better.

A Special Surprise for Our Amazing Women

March brought a special surprise for the women of Staff Domain. As they arrived at the office, they were greeted with beautiful roses and thoughtful messages. This simple yet meaningful gesture was designed to bring a moment of joy to their day and serve as a reminder of just how valued they are. More than just a token of appreciation, it was our way of acknowledging their contributions and celebrating their presence in our workplace.

Beyond Desk Work: Women of Staff Domain’s Journey

This International Women’s Month, we went beyond the desk to highlight the inspiring journeys of four incredible women at Staff Domain. Through candid conversations, they shared their experiences, personal philosophies, and what being a woman means to them.

Maria Cristina Combs

Known as ‘Mommy Combs’ to her colleagues, Maria Cristina Combs is Staff Domain’s first compliance officer. She is the only woman on her team, but that has never stopped her from fostering a warm and welcoming environment. Her journey at Staff Domain has been one of growth—from starting as a lead generation specialist to earning a well-deserved promotion to compliance officer.

Beyond her professional achievements, she is grateful for the balance she has found between work and motherhood. For her, family is everything, and she draws inspiration from her own mother, who taught her about financial independence, hard work, and perseverance. To her, being a woman means being the ‘light of the home,’ and she encourages other women to push past their limits, aim high, and work relentlessly toward their goals.

Samantha Williams

Samantha Williams, our Executive Operations Coordinator, has a unique story shaped by her global upbringing. Having moved across countries every few years, she developed an adventurous spirit that continues to define her life. She has set a goal to visit 40 countries by the time she turns 40—a testament to her love for exploration.

But Samantha’s journey is not just about travel. She is also a devoted daughter and sister, cherishing the special moments she shares with her family. A recent trip to Vietnam with her mother and sister deepened her appreciation for making lasting memories with loved ones. She believes that life is about experiences, and she is committed to creating meaningful moments with the people who matter most.

Minni O’Santos

As a Customer Onboarding Success Partner, Minni O’Santos thrives on connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Her biggest inspiration is her grandmother—whom she lovingly calls “Mom.” Describing her as the sweetest and most generous person she knows, Minni credits her with shaping her values and outlook on life.

Minni is also an artist at heart. Her passion for creativity is reflected in her tattoos, each one carrying a personal story. One of her favourites is the mask from the anime Princess Mononoke, which symbolises the challenges women face in male-dominated industries. She believes that true strength lies in embracing vulnerability and adapting to challenges. Her personal motto, ‘Do it afraid,’ serves as a reminder that taking action despite fear is always more rewarding than living with regret.

Jocelyn Singson

Jocelyn Singson, an Administrative Assistant at Peak Marketing, has a story of resilience and determination. As a former working student, she carried responsibilities beyond her years, proving her ability to stand strong in the face of adversity. She openly shared the challenges of balancing work and studies, often sacrificing sleep to make ends meet.

Despite her tough exterior, Jocelyn acknowledges that all women, no matter how strong they appear, need support, encouragement, and kindness. She finds empowerment in creative expression—whether through dance, pageants, or long motorcycle rides. Her advice to other women is simple yet profound: ‘Face your fears.’ She believes that true growth comes from stepping outside of one’s comfort zone and embracing new experiences. Her message is clear: ‘Your dreams are valid. Keep rising.’

These stories are a testament to the strength, passion, and resilience of the women of Staff Domain. Each of them has forged her own path, overcome challenges and inspired those around her. Their experiences remind us that success comes from courage, authenticity, and perseverance.

We believe that a strong company is built on the strength of its people, and the women of our team embody that belief. March was not just a celebration—it was an affirmation of the value, dreams, and voices of the incredible women we work with every day. Through simple gestures like roses and powerful conversations with Maria Cristina, Samantha, Minni, and Jocelyn, we reinforced our commitment to recognising and uplifting the women who make our workplace extraordinary.

Staff Domain’s “Bask n Groove”: A Coachella-Themed Team Building and Summer Party to Remember

The sun, sand, and good vibes were in full swing as Staff Domain brought its summer event, “Bask n Groove: A Coachella-Themed Team Building and Summer Party 2025” to the beautiful Canyon Cove, Nasugbu, Batangas on March 8 and 9, 2025. This two-day celebration was packed with energy, fun, and unforgettable moments. It was the perfect way to connect, unwind, and embrace the spirit of summer together as a unified unit.

The Journey Begins

Staff Domain employees gathered bright and early at the Ortigas office, buzzing with excitement for the adventure ahead. Upon arrival at Canyon Cove, everyone was greeted by the stunning beachside view, setting the perfect stage for a day filled with bonding, friendly competition, and celebration.

Team Building and Summer Party: Stronger Together, Colourfully United

The event kicked off with exciting team building activities specially designed to strengthen teamwork, boost morale, and create lasting memories. The entire session was facilitated by J-Controls Outdoor Leisure Services, ensuring a well-organised and engaging experience for everyone.

To ignite the competitive spirit, employees were divided into colourful teams — Green, Purple, Blue, Red, Orange, and Yellow — and proudly wore custommade team shirts. The burst of colours added even more fun and energy to the beachside event.

First up was the Chant competition, where each team composed and performed their own cheer—combining clever rhymes, upbeat energy, and impressive group effort to hype up their members and win the crowd’s applause. It was a lively and creative way to set the tone for a day of teamwork and fun.

Next was The Most,” where teams nominated a member who best fit fun and quirky categories such as:

  • “The Most Generous”
  • “The Smallest Hands”
  • “The Longest Name”

Nominees proudly embraced their titles, making everyone laugh and bringing out each person’s unique charm.

Pass the Coinfollowed. It was a fast-paced game that tested quick thinking, sharp reflexes, and team coordination as members had to work in pairs and hold a coin between their fingers. They must not drop the coin and then successfully pass it to the next pair.

Taking the action outdoors, teams went head-to-head in Earth Ball Relay,” a game that required focus and collaboration—and the ability to ignore the scorching heat of the sun. Holding a piece of black cloth, players had to work in pairs and must keep a ball bouncing in the air. They must pass it to the next pair and successfully shoot it in a basket to earn a point. The team that has the most points wins.

Finally, teams put their creativity and resourcefulness to the test in “Mountain Stuff.” Here, teams had to build the highest structure they could, using any personal items they could find around them— from the clothes on their backs, flip-flops, caps, hats, and even random beach finds like bottles and sticks.

Everyone brought their A-game that day and the level of competitiveness was through the roof. The teams gave their best performances, and while everyone’s efforts were commendable, only one came out on top. In the end, the Orange Team emerged as the overall champion with their standout teamwork and energy. The Yellow Team came in at a strong second place, while the Blue Team proudly took third place.

It was a fun-filled morning that brought out the creativity, collaboration, and competitiveness out of everyone. But, more importantly, it brought everyone closer together.

A Feast and Chill Vibes at Our Team Building and Summer Party Event

After an active and fun-filled morning, everyone gathered at the Oceanic Function Hall for a well-deserved lunch, where great company enjoyed good food. The afternoon gave everyone a chance to relax and recharge. They had free time to enjoy the beach, swim, or simply hang out with friends and colleagues.

Bask n Groove Evening Party: Where Festival Meets Celebration

As the sun began to set, the much-awaited Coachella-themed evening party began. And it did not disappoint. Everyone arrived in style, dressed in their best festival-inspired looks, ready to dance the night away.

The party opened with warm messages from CEO Justin Pavsic and CFO Ben Rajah, both celebrating the team’s achievements and setting an upbeat tone for the night.

There was no shortage of entertainment as more performances came while the delicious dinner was served. Later, the Farewell Walk of SD Summer Bodies 2024 began, giving a light-hearted nod to everyone ready for summer.

A Special Creative Corner: Customised Bracelet Station by Miracle Blossoms

Adding to the unique experiences of the day was a creative corner called “Miracle Blossoms. It was a fun nook set up at the beach, where everyone had the chance to create beautiful, customised bracelets. This thoughtful touch allowed employees to design their own keepsakes, making personalised accessories that symbolised their experience and connections made during the event.

Whether it was a bracelet that captured a favourite colour, a word of inspiration, or simply a fun beach vibe, the Miracle Blossoms station was a hit, providing a meaningful and creative activity for everyone to enjoy and remember.
